A few tips. This trips isn't for the timid. Drive a 4x4 with high ground clearance and don't follow your GPS. Many of the country roads are blocked. Just stay on Castle Rock Road south of I-70 and follow the signs. It's a good 15-20 miles back there. Watch out for snakes too.
